I have been a #VOAmbassador for the past few weeks now. Since I feel like we have become well-acquainted during this time, I thought I would introduce to you all to my first love – coffee.<\/p>\n

We meet at university. I was having a terrible day, and when I thought I was going to give up, there it was. When we were introduced by the barista and I was transfixed by how handsome it was and its aroma. We\u2019ve been hooked ever since!<\/p>\n

Nowadays, I am always on the hunt for the best places in Ontario to enjoy a cup of liquid gold. Not only do I take into consideration the taste of the coffee, but I also look for a caf\u00e9 that has a great ambience. Since I love coffee so much, I want to share my latest caf\u00e9 find with you, and show you why I think it would be the perfect place for a romantic date.<\/p>\n

Vereda Central Coffee Roasters<\/a>! Located in Kerr Village<\/a>, Vereda Central Coffee Roasters is a coffee roasting company from Colombia. They sell delicious coffee, baked goods and uniquely flavoured takeaway coffee beans. This two-level artistic vintage cafe is filled with warm natural light, open space and comfortable seating for you and your special one. They also have a beautiful outdoor patio with large umbrellas that look out onto Kerr Street.<\/p>\n

Vereda Central Coffee Roasters prides themselves in being dedicated artisan coffee roasters. Like more and more business today, this 2019 Best Caf\u00e9 Talk of the Town Award-winner exercises Fair Trade with Colombian coffee growers. This ensures that Colombian farmers are directly benefited from each business transaction, improving their quality of life.<\/p>\n

I personally love this caf\u00e9\u2019s caramel latt\u00e9 that is made with their Black Condor dark roast blend. It has the perfect balance of explosive rich flavour and sweet caramel. I also like their Almond Croissant. With its creamy almond filling and buttery and flaky exterior, this pastry reminds me of my Jamaican culture, as Jamaicans love using almonds in baking.<\/p>\n

This cafe would be a great spot for a lovely date. There are two beautiful love seat chairs on the second level that would be a great spot to relax and sip on a latte with somebody special to your heart. If you prefer to explore a little, get your coffee to go and take a romantic stroll around Kerr Village. You won\u2019t want to miss the whimsical views from Westwood Park and Waterworks Park<\/a>. If you can\u2019t make it to the caf\u00e9, plan a special date at home! Log on to the shop\u2019s website, order coffee beans and brew a cup for your loved one.
