Oakville\u2019s vibrant arts community has peppered the town with gorgeous public murals, sculptures and displays, making this destination a canvas for innovative artists and art enthusiasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spend the weekend immersing yourself with this two-day itinerary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

DAY 1: SCULPTURES, MURALS AND GARDENS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Start your day with a coffee and pastry at Vereda Central Coffee Roasters<\/strong><\/a>. Take your cup to go or sit in their upstairs lounge for a comfy seat and a look at the beautiful mural on their back wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you\u2019ve finished, take to the streets of\u00a0Kerr Village<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0for a look at all the public art this neighbourhood has to offer. There is a gorgeous sculpture, a number of wall murals, and a beautiful custom-designed metal gazebo in\u00a0Westwood Park<\/strong><\/a>, and a newly-added bright and\u00a0uplifting mural<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0from artists Elena Martoglio and Ryan Smeeton on the side of the building at 357 Kerr Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep the visual feast alive on your way to lunch at Piano Piano<\/strong><\/a> in Downtown Oakville<\/strong><\/a>. The whole building is painted pink and adorned with brightly-coloured flowers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After lunch, hop on over to the Oakville Galleries at Gairloch Gardens<\/strong><\/a>. In addition to hosting rotating exhibits inside their location, the gardens are home to an unparalleled sculpture park<\/strong><\/a>. Enjoy the breathtaking beauty of this lakeside garden while taking in the sculptures and audio walks that make this location so magical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Begin your final day with brunch at\u00a0Pur and Simple<\/strong><\/a> before giving your legs a stretch along the\u00a0Bronte Village<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0lakeshore for a look at the neighbourhood\u2019s\u00a0At Home in Bronte Muskoka Chair Display<\/strong><\/a>. The waterfront is spotted with painted Muskoka chairs that reflect beautiful aspects of Oakville\u2019s identity.
