Oakville\u2019s springing into the month of May with Oakville Youth Week<\/strong> events from May 1-7. Read on to see what exciting events and opportunities await!<\/p>\n

Monday<\/strong> is a slam dunk, featuring open houses at all youth centres from 3-8 p.m., as well as a police vs. youth basketball game from 4-7 p.m. at Glen Abbey Community Centre that\u2019s sure to get the crowd on its feet.<\/p>\n

Tuesday<\/strong> features a 4-5 p.m. presentation of SAVIS\u2019 \u201cToxic Media\u201d at the Bronte Youth Centre, followed by T.A.C.O. (Totally Awesome Career Opportunities) Tuesday, from 5-8 p.m. at Queen Elizabeth Park Cultural Community Centre (QEPCC). And don\u2019t worry \u2013 the event includes totally awesome real<\/em> tacos, as well.<\/p>\n

Wednesday<\/strong> offers another opportunity to see \u201cToxic Media\u201d, this time at the Nottinghill Youth Centre from 4-5 p.m., as well as a chance to strike a pose and be a star at the Teen Green Screen from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Woodside Branch Library.<\/p>\n
